Honda’s big bike caravan around Malaysia that ends at the MotoGP race in Sepang Circuit will celebrate its fourth edition since 2016. It is organized annually by the Honda Group of Companies in the Asia & Oceania region.

This year, the “Honda Asian Journey 2019″ will start on October 31 from the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) before venturing out to Melaka, Kuala Selangor, Genting Highlands with a brief stop at Kuala Lumpur to visit the iconic KLCC Twin Towers. On November 3, the fourth and final day of riding, the caravan will have a nice short ride back to Sepang to enjoy the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

In between rides, the caravan will stay in plush hotels in Malaysia like the Shangri-la Hotel, First World Hotel, Hatten Hotel Melaka, and La Meridien Putrajaya.

Like in previous years, one of the highlights will be the Honda Asian Journey Racing Gala Dinner on Saturday where the participants will be able to meet in person Honda’s Grand Prix riders including newly crowned 2019 MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez.

Marquez already secured the 2019 World Title by winning the Thai GP in Buriram almost a month ago. It was Marquez’s sixth World Championship and he became Honda’s most successful ever premier class rider surpassing Australian great Mick Doohan.

Approximately 60 riders comprised of customers, journalists, Honda dealers, and associates from  Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, and India will travel a total distance of approximately 500 kilometers.

InsideRACING Nation will be joining the Honda Asian Journey for the first time as part of the big Honda Philippines delegation that includes many motorcycle media, bloggers and social media influencers.

We hope to bring you more day to day updates of the tour.
