—Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the country’s leading brand of top-quality motorcycles for personal and commercial use, donated a total of P1.2 million to the ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. (AFI), the public service arm of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp., the country’s leading media network. The amount came from the proceeds of the “Auction for a Cause” project, where HPI auctioned off motorcycle units like the Honda CRF, Honda Scoopy and TMX during its recently concluded dealers convention in Bohol. Although HPI have had a decade-long CSR partnership with AFI, this is the first time that HPI teamed up with its partner-dealers for a CSR effort. The event was highlighted by the signing of the Deed of Donation between top AFI officials, HPI executives and its partner-dealers Motortrade Nationwide Corp. and Odyssey Motors, the auction winners, and the awarding of the certificate for the donation.
