insideracing.com.ph – New Motorstar 250cc Adventure bike coming!

The Zongshen designed and manufactured 250cc adventure or ADV bike will be made available by Motorstar here in the Philippines soon. Known globally as the Zongshen RX-3, the prototype bike will be displayed at Motorstar’s booth on August 24 at the 5th Anniversary event of Motorsiklo Xklusibo in Tagaytay. 

It will be powered by 249cc single cylinder 4-stroke engine with a SOHC, four-valve head, and develops approximately 24hp and 16 lbs•ft of torque. It will hopefully come with a six-speed manual transmission and a 16- liter fuel tank . A moderately low 31.2 inch seat height  and 385 lbs dry weight will make this a very manageable and adventure bike for smaller Filipino riders.

Top box, side panniers and engine guards will come as standard. It is already being sold in the United Kingdom and Russia and soon in pother parts of Asia.

Price is yet to be finalized.
