HRC’s win at the famed endurance classic with Zarco and Takahashi was not the only one making headlines for Honda. There was also its recreation and mostly anticipated introduction of one of its iconic model, the CB.

The 2026 CB1000F SE is a retro-style naked bike that takes its visual inspiration from the CB750F that debuted in 1979, and more specifically from the 1981 version of that bike in the colors of Freddie Spencer’s AMA Superbike from that year.

The new CB1000f SE is based in the new affordable Hornet 1000 engine and chassis producing more than 150 hp. Presented as a concept 5 years ago and displayed earlier this year in March, the one presented at the Suzuka 8-Hour race last weekend looks almost production ready with its striking retro silver and blue blue colorway.
