Inaugural KTM RC Cup PH a Success

The KTM RC Cup Philippines showcases Filipino assembled KTM RC 200 and KTM RC390 sportbikes. The goal of the series is for KTM to not only demonstrate its motorcycles” Ready to Race” DNA, but also to make racing as accessible, convenient, enjoyable and rewarding for its KTM customers. It is also an ideal race series for “gentlemen racers” who wants to have an exceptional experience in road racing.

Opening round grid on April 24, 2022

The inaugural KTM RC Cup in the series was held from April to October 2022 together with the MotoIR Championship and one round of the Motul Super Series in Tarlac. Veteran racer Fritsy Claveria and his daughter Queenie Claveria, gentlemen racers and a rider from Bacolod showcased their riding skills on board their KTM motorcycles throughout the series held at the Tarlac Circuit Hill.

After five rounds of fun competition, overall champions in the 2022 KTM RC Cup were Queenie Claveria in the 200 SP category, Kylo Lustestica in the + 200 SP, Fritsy Claveria in the + 390 GP, Ron Cordova from Bacolod in the + 390 SP and Rolando Pestaño in the 390 SP class.

The KTM RC Cup series was held in partnership with Pirelli Tires, MOTOREX Lubricants, Alpinestars, Ride Manila, Cardo, Giant Loop and Red Bull. The RC Cup is indeed one of the enjoyable activities of KTM Philippines for its KTM owners.
