JE Inguito of 4S1M Evo Yamaha Racing Team Wins round 3 of the Asia Road Racing Championship in Japan

For the first time in the racing series this year, the Philippine flag was raised at center stage during the awarding ceremonies of the Underbone 150 category of the 2023 Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) held at Sportsland Sugo International Racing Course in Japan last June 25, 2023.

John Emerson Inguito of the 4S1M Evo Yamaha Racing Team bagged first place in Race 2 of Round 3, showcasing his incredible grit and talent on his final dash toward the checkered flag. His teammate, Gupita Kresna Wardhana, got 3rd place in both races 1 and 2. Because of these achievements, 4S1M Evo Yamaha was given the Best Team Award for race 2.

“I am extremely happy with today’s achievement. It is a dream come true for both me and the team, and I am thrilled to have made them proud. The UB150 category is always a challenging feat, and every rider has a chance to win. The race was far from easy, but my experience played a vital role in today’s success. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my Filipino fans, as well as the supporters of 4S1M. I couldn’t have done it without you,” shared JE in his interview.

“I was in the third position during the final dash towards the finish line, but I was already in tears inside my helmet because at that point, I had no doubt in my mind that victory’s mine” JE added. In celebration of this victory in Japan, JE and the 4S1M Evo Yamaha Team were presented by Yamaha Motor Philippines as conquering heroes at the recently concluded Philippine Sports Expo held at the Crystal Pavilion of Okada Manila.

In last year’s series, Inguito got 3rd Place in the same round, but this is his first win in ARRC and incidentally, this is also the first 1st Place win for the 4S1M Evo Yamaha racing team. Round 4 of the Asia Road Racing Championship will be held on August 11-13, 2023 at Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia.
