Terrafirma Launches Hero Motorcycles in the Philippines!

A new era of mobility has began on August 1, 2024 as Terrafirma Motors Corporation, a member of the Columbian Auto Group, officially launched the Hero motorcycle and scooter brand in the country. This is the first venture of Terrafirma Motors Corporation in the two-wheel category.

Three initial models were launched on August 1 at the Terrafirma plant in Laguna: XPULSE 200 4V, HUNK 160R and XOOM 110. These are offered with a 2-year warranty for the vehicle (24, 000 km) and 2-year warranty for the engine (36, 000 km).
Born for the toughest terrains, the 199.6 cc Hero XPULSE 200 4V has an SRP of Php 140, 000. It is available in Techno Blue, Black Sports Red and Matte Nexus Blue colors. The new XPULSE 200 4V has new protector headlamps with LED DRLs, multi-terrain 3-mode ABS, rally-style windshield, updated ergonomics, new knuckle guards, updated luggage plate, updated USB charger, new switchgear, increased ground clearance of 270 mm, extended gear lever, longer side stand and taller seat height of 885 mm. Its fuel tank capacity is 13.0 liters.
Available in Blazing Sports Red for its standard variant and Matt Slate Black for its Connect 2.0 variant, the 163.2 cc Hero HUNK 160R is priced at Php 99, 900. It has a mono shock supension, 130 mm radial rear tire, front and rear petal disc brakes, sporty exhaust, 4-valve technology and best in class 5 Fin Oil Cooler, KYB USD forks, Bluetooth connectivity, inverted LCD display, all new split seat, all LED lights and 12-liter fuel tank capacity.
Priced at Php 69, 900, the Hero XOOM has a 110.9cc air-cooled, 4-stroke SI engine. It has cornering bending lights, signature H-shaped position lamps, advanced projector LED headlamps, aerodynamic design, sporty muffler, front disc brake, rear drum brake, 5.2-liter fuel tank capacity, Bluetooth connectivity and revolutionary i3s technology (Idle Stop-Start System) developed by Hero MotoCorp.
Present at the event were Terrafirma Motors Corporation’s Congressman Jose Chavez Alvarez (Chairman Emeritus), Mr. Bienvenido Santos (Chairman) and Mr. Felix Mabilog Jr. (President) while in attendance for Hero Motocorp Ltd. were Mr. Sanjay Bhan (Chief Business Officer – Global Business Unit), Mr. Parag Agarwal (Associate Vice President – Global Business Unit) and Hero executives.
Aside from the launch of its three motorcycles, dealers and the motoring media were given a tour of the Terrafirma Motors Corporation plant located at the Laguna International Industrial Park.
