Davao Goes Full Throttle with Yamaha FastFest

Yamaha Motor Philippines ignited Davao with FastFest at SM Lanang Premiere on the weekend of October 19 and 20. The event honors the brand’s unique speed, which can only be experienced on their machines.

The new Yamaha Sniper155 and Sniper155R are the top models in the company’s motorcycle portfolio. The Sniper155 retains most of its sophisticated features, including its liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 155cc single cylinder engine, but has a sportier and more macho look, as well as a new color and graphics scheme. The new Sniper155R now comes with ABS.

April King Mascardo, a member of the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team, attended the event although recovering from an injury. He, along with teammates Mckinley Kyle Paz and Gian Carlo Mauricio, have had their careers influenced by the legacy of the Yamaha Sniper, which drove them to championships. He reminisced about their past experiences with the machine and expressed their enthusiasm for the latest model.

There was also a special performance by Yamaha Ambassador Nik Makino, who created the original soundtrack for Yamaha Racing Philippines titled ‘Creating Champions’.

Those who believed they had what it took to go full throttle like a professional rider put their talents to the test at the Moto Trainer, the official MotoGP simulator. Those who wanted a souvenir of cornering like a pro took photos at the Lean Angle Experience, where Yamaha Motorcycles were set up to replicate racetrack cornering.

Yamaha continues to push the boundaries of its machines to create the best motorcycle possible. Whether you’re looking to live to be chased or become champions on the racetrack, Yamaha will undoubtedly unlock your speed.
