Casey Edward Clamor has gone a long way since starting his career in motorsports through MiniGP racing and joining the MotoIR3 Championship in 2021. In that year, he became the MotoIR3 SP Champion and clinched the IRGPXIV MotoIR3 Trophy title in 2022. He was then invited to the Asia Talent Cup Selection and in 2024, debuted in international racing as one of the participants of the TVS Asia One Make Championship, a series held during FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) rounds.
It was a decent performance for the 17-year-old in his first year in international racing. Clamor was able to score points in majority of his races on board the TVS Apache RR310. He only had one DNF in 11 races and missed one round because of a hand injury.
The final round of the series held at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand saw Clamor riding steadily and taking in all the experience and learnings. He was P12 in the combined practice results and qualified at P11. He maintained that position in Race 1 while in Race 2, he crossed the finish line in P12. Overall, Clamor ranked 13th in the TVS Asia One Make Championship standings.
“Closing out my first season in the Asia Road Racing Championship in Race 2 P12! What a journey it has been. Representing the Philippines on the international stage has been a dream come true, filled with challenges, growth, and unforgettable moments. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to compete, travel, and learn alongside some of the best in Asia. Thank you very much to my family, team, sponsors and everyone who supported me. While this season has come to an end, it’s just the beginning of a much bigger dream,” shared Clamor.
Before heading to the 2024 FIM ARRC finale in December, the Watanabe Riding Development protégé had a triumphant showing at the 17th InsideRACING Grand Prix where he raced for Motortrade x Kawasaki x WRD and placed second in the Super Sport Bike (SSBK) Grand Prix. Clamor also had good season at the MotoIR Championship’s SSBK class.
Congratulations Casey and we look forward to your endeavors in 2025!
