Bringing the best of both worlds, Suzuki Philippines is excited to introduce the all-new GSX-8T and GSX-8TT – the brand’s Timeless Titans for a fresh neo-retro experience to the country’s motorcycle scene. Blending in Retro Spirit with Next Generation Performance, these bikes skillfully merge timeless aesthetics with modern engineering resulting to an exciting ride Suzuki is known for. Announced globally in July, the Philippines is one of the first countries to receive the first models just about a month after the international launch.

The GSX-8T/8TT are Suzuki’s new addition in its naked sport motorcycle line-up which combines the fun, high-performance ride of the latest sport bike with the styling of a more traditional standard model. Designed to appeal to a wide range of riders, the concept of the GSX-8T/8TT was guided by three key concepts: Timeless, Innovative, and Passionate. While paying homage to the distinctive and iconic designs of past Suzuki models, the goal was not to simply recreate the past, but to reinterpret it with modern design sensibility — combining aesthetic appeal with contemporary styling and the latest technologies resulting to a new motorcycle series with an identity that stands the test of time.

The T in GSX-8T was added in honor of the T500’s pet name “Titan,” where the design of the bike was inspired from. The GSX-8TT, with its mini cowl evoking classic motorcycles such as the GS1000 AMA race motorcycle, filled the other T with the word “Timeless” signifying the revival of classic bikes in a modern context; giving us the moniker “Timeless Titans”. The GSX-8T/8TT pair Suzuki’s latest high-performance powertrain with its latest platform to deliver a responsive ride.
A large-capacity fuel tank makes long-distance touring more convenient. Both models also feature distinctive handlebar end mirrors, which, by extending from the bar ends, provide a wide, open view and reduce body interference ― enhancing rearward visibility while adding a unique visual accent.

Each variant features model-specific colorways, offering styling choices that appeal to a wide range of rider preferences. The GSX-8T/8TT feature Suzuki’s latest-generation 776 cm3 parallel twin DOHC engine, known for its strong torque delivery and proven performance in the GSX-8S and GSX-8R Series. The frame delivers neutral, well-balanced handling, making it possible to enjoy the latest sport bike-level performance with a more relaxed riding style.
At first glance, the new GSX-8T/8TT appear classic and timeless, but their styling reveals thoughtful design details throughout. These new models provide a new option for riders seeking genuine value, delivering lasting ownership satisfaction over time.
Product Concept
Living by its product concept and tagline, Retro Spirit, Next Generation Performance, the Suzuki GSX 8T/877’s styling pays respectful homage to legendary Suzuki models of the past, capturing the look and feel of the classic motorcycle while also delivering a unique appeal.
Styling
The keywords set by Suzuki’s design team during the development of the GSX-8T/8TT were “Timeless,” “Innovative,” and “Passionate.” In other words, the GSX-8T/8TT can be seen as a revival, a restomod, and a neo-retro reinterpretation. Rather than simply imitating past models, the design integrates Suzuk’s distinctive spirit, beauty, and sense of fun using modern styling and techniques.

“What defines a timeless motorcycle ― one that truly captures the essence of riding?,” this is the question that guided the design of the GSX-8T/8TT. Inspiration was drawn from legendary machines of the past and within their forms lay hints of the core spirit of motorcycling.
The GSX-8T/8TT bring together the full capabilities of the design, engineering, and production teams to elevate the quality and finish of the exterior. The result is a machine that evo kes the charm of classic motorcycles, delivered with modern-day performance. Designed to appeal to a broad range of riders — from beginners to experienced riders, these models are sure to suit everything from weekday commutes to weekend getaways, all with added style.
Though sharing key components with the GSX-8T, the GSX-8TT is styled with a modern approach inspired by classic road racers. Positioned as a manufacturer-developed variation of the GSX-8T, this model features both a headlight cowl and under cowl, further expanding the lineup and offers more options for riders.

Key Product Features
Powering the GSX-8T/8TT are the acclaimed, latest-generation parallel-twin engine and robust frame that made the GSX-8S and GSX-8R so impressive. This powerful combination lets you enjoy thrilling performance with a relaxed ride.
This series also features a range of distinctive equipment, including a mono-round headlight inspired by classic Suzuki models, handlebar end mirrors, a uniquely shaped large-capacity 16.5 L fuel tank, HY battEliiy P-series Starter Battery using advanced energy storage technology, offering reliability, durability, enhanced startability, and long life with minimal self-discharge.

The bikes also sport a USB Type-C socket compatible with high-speed charging (a first in Suzuki’s line up of motorcycles), and a high-quality information display with a full-color TFT meter that clearly displays a wide range of information. This combination of striking styling, high performance, and practical features represents Suzuki’s new models.
Engine Features
These Suzuki bikes deliver an exhilarating, smooth ride, perfect for any journey. Its 776cc parallel twin DOHC engine offers easy-to-control power at low RPMs and a thrilling free-revving feel, echoing the beloved V-twin comfort of bikes like the SV650 thanks to its 270-degree crankshaft.
The Cross Balancer system which is a first for production motorcycles ensures smooth operation and a compact, lightweight engine. The cooling system’s inlet control quickly reaches and maintains optimal temperatures, while electronic throttle bodies provide precise power delivery.

Environmentally friendly, the 2-into-1 exhaust with its dual-stage catalytic converter meets Euro 5+ emissions standards and looks great with its short design. Finally, the 6-speed transmission provides smooth shifting, and the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) reduces fatigue and makes shifts even smoother, letting you simply enjoy the ride.
SUZUKI Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.)
At the heart of the GSX-8T/8TT is the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which uses advanced electronic systems to adapt performance characteristics to match changing riding conditions and rider preferences. This makes the bike easier to control, more predictable, and less tiring to ride. Part of S.I.R.S. is the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), allowing the rider to easily adjust the bike’s performance to match their riding style, the road conditions, or the weather, giving them ultimate control. For added confidence, the Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS) offers three modes (plus Off), letting the rider manage the bike’s grip in various situations.
Riders will experience incredibly precise control thanks to Suzuki’s ride-by-wire electronic throttle, which translates their every input into faithful throttle action. Shifting gears becomes quicker, smoother, and more confident with the Bi-directional Quick Shift System (which can be turned on or off), allowing for gear changes without even touching the clutch.

And for peace of mind, the ABS system helps prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking, ensuring more stable stops. Starting a ride is a breeze with the Suzuki Easy Start System—just a single quick press of the starter button. Plus, the Low RPM Assist function helps prevent stalling by maintaining engine idle speed, making smoother and easier take-offs, especially for newer riders or in stop-and go traffic.
Chassis and Electric Equipment Features
The GSX-8T/8TT’s chassis blends comfort, stability, and agile handling with a steel frame ensuring a smooth ride and excellent stability, while the powerful dual radial mount front brakes with ∅310 mm discs provide confident stopping.
For a more controlled ride, the bikes use KYB inverted front forks and adjustable KYB link-type rear suspension. Cast aluminum wheels with Dunlop SPORTMAX Roadsport 2 tires contribute to nimble handling and a sporty look. A lightweight aluminum swingarm further enhances agility and stability. Tapered aluminum handlebars offer positive control and a comfortable, upright riding position.
The 16.5-liter fuel tank adds classic style, stability, and secure knee grip. The rider’s seat is shaped for comfortable sport riding with freedom of movement. Finally, the 5-inch color TFT LCD instrument panel provides clear, comprehensive information.
