Fresh from his spectacular Motul MotoIR National Championship Round 3 performance wherein he won the SSBK main race and delivered a P2 finish in his debut in the Maxi Open GP class, “The Hitman” John Emerson Inguito continues to be superb, this time in the third Round of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which is being held from June 12-14 at the Mobility Resort Motegi in Japan.

Inguito is on the hunt again for UB150 victory and he did so impressively in Race 1 held on June 13. The Filipino who races for 4S1M EVO Yamaha secured P3 at the starting grid. The 8-lap race saw a strong performance from Inguito and his Indonesian teammate Rendi Odding who started at P10.

Battling at the lead pack all throughout the race, Inguito was able to lead in a number of laps, most importantly in Lap 7 and 8 and successfully held on to P1 until the checkered flag. His teammate finished in P2 for a commanding performance and historic win for 4S1M EVO Yamaha.

Inguito shared, “Salamat po sa lahat ng naniwala at sumusuporta! Sa pamilya ko, sa team, at sponsors, sa atin lahat ang panalong ito!” It was definitely a sweet victory for Inguito as the last time he won in the FIM ARRC UB150 was three years ago in June 2023 in Race 2 of the third round held also in Japan. This was also Inguito’s first podium finish in 2026 after his P2 result in the final UB150 race in 2025.

Race 2 is on June 14 and “The Hitman” and 4S1M EVO Yamaha are looking forward for supremacy again.
