Yamaha Motor Philippines continues to elevate the riding experience with the launch of YECVT: Shift to Performance, an immersive rider engagement program designed to help customers discover, understand, and experience the full capabilities of Yamaha’s innovative YECVT technology.
Held at Timberland Highland Resort in San Mateo, Rizal, the event brings together NMAX Tech MAX owners, prospective buyers, Yamaha dealers, and riding enthusiasts for a comprehensive experience that goes beyond the traditional test ride. Through a combination of product discussions, riding evaluations, practical demonstrations, and real-world riding scenarios, participants gain a deeper appreciation of how YECVT enhances both performance and everyday riding enjoyment.
At the heart of the program is Yamaha’s commitment to rider education. Participants are introduced to the features and functions of the NMAX Tech MAX and its YECVT system through guided discussions before applying their learnings on actual roads. Riders experience firsthand how different riding modes and the Shift function can be utilized in various riding situations, allowing them to better understand the technology’s advantages in terms of performance, control, and rider engagement.
The experience is further enhanced through the involvement of the Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA), which provides safety briefings, riding guidance, and practical instruction throughout the activity.
