Yamaha Motor Philippines continued to strengthen its commitment to grassroots motorsports as the Yamaha Grand Prix Round 2 delivered another action-packed weekend of racing at Tarlac Circuit Hill. Bringing together aspiring racers, seasoned local competitors, partner dealers, and the country’s most promising young talents, the event further reinforced Yamaha’s mission of developing the next generation of Filipino champions through competitive racing and the global BLU CRU program.
More than a race weekend, the Yamaha Grand Prix continues to serve as a platform where riders sharpen their skills, embrace sportsmanship, and gain valuable experience in a professional racing environment. The series also showcases the performance capabilities of Yamaha’s race-bred machines while providing partner dealers with greater visibility through the newly introduced YZF-R15M Dealer Cup.

Each dealer team is composed of two riders, with every participating dealer entering the season with one designated rider before completing its roster through the Dealer Draft Pick, where they selected a second rider from the Yamaha BLU CRU talent pool. MotorAce, represented by Jolo Suba, drafted Myron Delos Santos; New Nemar, represented by Asia Milan, selected Joshua Kyle Andres; Guanzon, with Knox Pantaleon, welcomed Joaquin Geronimo; JOVAS Racing Department, represented by Rand Erwin Bergania, drafted Anderson Debnam; while CDO 2 Cycles Marketing Corporation, represented by Gab Serevo, completed its lineup with Ezra Samson. Through this unique format, Yamaha strengthens the partnership between its dealer network and the BLU CRU rider development program, giving young racers the opportunity to compete alongside dealer-backed teams while building the future of Philippine motorsports.

One of the newest additions to the championship, the Aerox SP R&D Sprint Cup, highlighted Yamaha’s commitment to continuous innovation by giving racers the opportunity to develop and refine their machines throughout the season. Alongside returning categories such as the Sniper Limited GP Invitational and Sniper Limited Intermediate, the event featured close battles that showcased the growing depth of talent within Philippine grassroots racing.

Round 2 also saw the continued growth of Yamaha’s BLU CRU Junior Cup, the brand’s rider development program designed to prepare young racers for bigger opportunities in national and international competition. Every lap represented another step forward for these aspiring athletes as they continue their journey under Yamaha’s structured racing pathway.

Adding another exciting dimension to the weekend was the YZF-R15M Dealer Cup, where Yamaha’s partner dealerships took center stage by fielding their own teams composed of BLU CRU riders. The category strengthened the relationship between Yamaha Racing and its dealer network while creating another competitive avenue for rider development. Dealers also participated in the unique Dealer Draft Pick, making the competition even more engaging as they built their teams for the season championship.
Across two days of racing, competitors delivered thrilling performances in every category. The Aerox SP R&D Sprint Cup, Sniper Limited GP Invitational, Sniper Limited Intermediate, BLU CRU Junior Cup, and Dealer Cup all produced exciting battles that rewarded consistency, ability, and determination. As the championship continues, every race contributes valuable points in the pursuit of season honors while giving riders more opportunities to elevate their performance.

With another successful round completed, Yamaha Grand Prix continues to prove why it remains one of the country’s premier grassroots racing programs. By combining rider development, dealer participation, competitive racing, and the BLU CRU philosophy, Yamaha Motor Philippines continues to build a stronger future for Philippine motorsports, one race at a time.
