A New Chapter Begins

The annual Motolite InsideRACING Grand Prix (IRGP) is indeed our “One Great Race”. For the past five (5) years, the IRGP has brought together the local racing community and motorcycle industry in celebration of the love for the sport of motorcycle racing. It has uplifted the image of the sport and industry, created many exciting memories and has made many
heroes among our local riders. IRGP has always been a memorable experience for the riders, teams, spectators, event partners and sponsors.

The IRGP is ready to fire up again for its 6th edition as the annual GP-style race event for underbone motorcycle road racing which uses Bridgestone tires takes place again on November 23-25,2012 at the historic Carmona Race Track in Cavite.

Be ready for the drama, the action and the glory in two wheels!

Thirty-two (32) of the country’s top motorcycle racing teams,
including Kymco Philippines, have fielded almost 70 of our leading local riders to compete in seven prestigious categories that resulted in another record 105 race entries, again breaking the century mark achieved last year!

There will be twelve (14) entries in the Phoenix Cyclomax Juniors Trophy; Eleven (11) in the new Top1 Action Matic Juniors Automatic Trophy; Thirteen (13) in the Gulf Oil Pride 4T Masters Trophy; Twenty six (26) in the NGK Spark Plug Automatic Trophy; thirteen (13) in the Castrol Activ Underbone Grand Prix; seventeen (17) in the Shell Advance Automatic Grand Prix; and eleven (11) in the new DENSO Spark Plug MotoIR Grand Prix.

Aside from trophies and wreaths, IRGP6 will give out almost P300,000 in cash prizes paid down to 8th place for all classes.

IRGP6 is presented by Motolite Motorcycle Batteries, Bridgestone Tires, Castrol Power 1, Gulf Pride 4T, Top 1 Oil, DENSO Spark Plugs, Shell Advance, Phoenix Cyclomax, NGK Spark Plugs, ZEBRA helmets, JVT Scooters.
