Another Exhilarating Weekend! Greatness Continues in Motul MotoIR’s Fourth Round

It was a great race weekend once again at the Tarlac Circuit Hill. The gloomy and rainy practice and qualifying sessions on Saturday did not dampen the spirit of MotoIR racers and come Sunday, it was a good race day for the fourth round of the Motul Philippine MotoIR Championship.

There was nothing short of two-wheel racing action and joy with the underbone, scooter, backbone, mini GP, super sport and sport bike classes of the MotoIR last September 6 and 7.

Jolo Suba

Under gloomy skies, qualifying was held  for the MotoIR classes and riders have been cooperative for the sessions to finish smoothly and early on September 6. There were also three races that day. Motul 300V Sprint race winners were Jolo Suba of VS Racing Resultado in the Super Underbone Open GP and Leeandro Paredes in the Super Sport Bike GP. Miguel Dizon finally got his first win in the Senior class of the Motul MotoIR Youth Cup while Rand Bergania secured another P1 result in the Senior Plus category.

Ronald Galzote

Main races were held early with a good weather the next day. Rand Bergania continued his winning ways in the Motul MotoIR Youth Cup while Ronald Galzote was back at the top in the Senior class. Jolo Suba once again showed domination by winning both races of F.C.C. Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup Round 3.

Myron Al delos Santos

Triumphant in the beginner club races were Myron Al delos Santos of Yamaha Cardinals in the Underbone class and Joshua Kile Andres of Motorad Performance in the Backbone race.

Eunice Mae Sta. Ana

Eunice Mae Sta. Ana of Pops Shock Attack Jazzy SEC was impeccable in the Philippine SSBK Women’s class and clinched her second victory at the said category.

The Super Maxi race was  a competition of endurance and strategy and outperforming everyone was EJ Sobretodo of XTeer Agnat, taking P1 in the Super Maxi 185 Open GP. His rival Jhareld Resultay of Pipoyworkz-RR Moto-Pitsbike Racing finished second and won the Intermediate class. ADM Racing’s Jasper Castro was the winner in the Super Maxi Limited SP for novice and beginner racers.

Dale Malihan

KC99 G Racing BOM X racer Dale Malihan had an awesome performance and delivered two wins for  his team. Malihan won the Super Underbone Limited SP and Super Underbone Open SP classes in Motul MotoIR’s fourth round.

Rain del Mundo

Victors in the Super Underbone Intermediate categories were Rain del Mundo of Hyperboy Racing Team in the Limited GP and VS Racing Resultado’s Jolo Suba in the Open GP race.

McKinley Kyle Paz (23)

McKinley Kyle Paz of Yamaha Philippines was spectacular as usual with a double win. Paz dominated the Super Underbone Limited GP race wherein he was in pole position. In the Super Underbone Open GP, the Wonder Boy had to start at the back of the grid because of a penalty but nonetheless ended up victorious, getting to P1 after just three laps and then cruised his way to the checkered flag.

Jakob Sablaya

Tommy Tapel of GPR-J2Cab Racing Team was still unstoppable in the Super Sports 200 SP class. Meanwhile, Jakob Sablaya of  Motoflash Honda was back to his winning ways in the Super Sport 200 GP category battled by intermediate and expert riders.

Christwil Villanueva

Rider from Cebu Christwil Villanueva of EGS Racing was victorious again in the Super Sport Bike SP class. Pops Shock Attack Aprilia’s Leeandro Paredes had a perfect race weekend as aside from winning the Sprint race a day before, he also prevailed in the main Super Sport Bike GP race. He delivered P1 results both in the Intermediate and GP classes.

Next round of the Motul MotoIR Championship is on October 11 and 12 at the Tarlac Circuit Hill. The series is organized by InsideRACING, sanctioned by NAMSSA and USRA and is fully supported by the Tarlac local government. The MotoIR Championship is presented by Motul distributed in Luzon by Infiniterserv International. Tire partners of the series are FDR, Pirelli, CST and MAXXIS while event partners are GS Battery and Honda Philippines.
