Batangas’ MC Motor Parts Clinch Castrol Super Mechanics 2019 Title

The finale of the 2019 Castrol Partner for Life Super Mechanics competition took place at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall last December 8, 2019.
Excitement was in the air as eight finalists vied for the much coveted title. The participants from all over the country battled in three stages. The first one was a quiz followed by actual scooter maintenance and then troubleshooting wherein they must be able to start the motorcycles assigned to them.
After the thrilling competition, it was MC Motor Parts from Batangas who emerged as the winner. The owner and the three mechanics each received a “castrolized” motorcycle. The event also featured a bike show, raffles and booths from event partners and sponsors.
Since 2014, the Castrol Partner for Life program has been touring the country. The goal of Castrol’s program and competition is to enhance the skills, knowledge and expertise of motorcycle mechanics. In 2019, advanced EFI training, motorcycle engine repairs and leakage troubleshooting was the focus of the program.
