Ricky “Phapz” Balagtas, a businessman and retired OFW who hails from Mabalacat/Magalang, Pampanga owns this stunning Yamaha Sniper 150 named “Black Mantis”.

He started modifying and custom building bikes in 2018 and was inspired by Alex Paguio, Ian Ponio, Valentino Cruz, Romcel Maniaul and JP Roque.

Ricky makes sure that the modified motorcycle will be nice. Most importantly, keeps in mind to be humble all the time. It is his passion. It brings happiness to him and is a stress reliever from his business. If there is a problem, Ricky will go to his bike to relax his mind.

He plans to have a nicely modified bike that was never seen before and also help other builders by giving them tips in modifying their bikes. Ricky also plans to make a second build which will have all Ducati parts. He will name it Ducaciter.

“Believe in yourself. Enjoy what you are doing. Build and be proud of yourself and your motorcycle. Make your build nice and perfect. Also be humble always and most importantly, put God first,” shared Ricky when asked for his advice to fellow modifiers/builders and enthusiasts.

“Thank you to JP Roque, Alex Paguio, Ian Ponio, Romcel Maniaul, Harold Labrador, Nick Cruz (founder of Pro Arm Society of the Philippines)  and my BBC group (BIGbike concept),” expressed Ricky.
