Ducati Cup Champ BJ Ang is also a world class jet ski racer!

The gentleman motorcycle racer becomes a beast and one a top dog when it comes to the world of jetski competition. If this was an Olympic for jetski racing, then he has secured another medal for the country.

The Philippine Ducati Champion, PSBK rider and MotoIR3 All Star rider BJ Ang has proven himself once again in the world of International Jetski racing. The defending National Jet Ski Associatiob of the Philippines (JSAP) Rider of the Year finished an impressive third overall in the recent IJSBA World Finals held in Lake Havasu City, Arizona USA.

The International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) is the worldwide sanctioning body for personal watercraft competitive racing. IJSBA is responsible for the rules which govern the sanction, organization and conduct of sanctioned events; the standards for eligibility and conduct of competition and officials; the regulations for eligibility and preparation of watercraft; and the rules for annual series of events around the world.

The 2021 IJSBA Jettrim WGP-1 World Finals
is the 40th edition and was held at the Crazy Horse Campground and Resort in beautiful Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

On Day One of the event is when our very own BJ Ang took his 2021 World Number 3 plate in the Naturally Aspirated Rounabout class.

” The 2021 IJSBA World Finals is a wrap. Mission accomplished beyond expectation. Thank you God for these results and for keeping me safe. To Renee Ann Hill for renting out your vxr to me. Thank you. To my sponsors Darren Attard of JETPILOT boss Charlie Ong and boss Peter Yung of KYT Philippines KYT Helmet , to brother Ryu Policarpio of Mr. Fresh  brother Jojo Alojado  of Blackflag Designs PH, to Jun Ikoma Akemi Ikoma Akimoto Kunihiro Pound One #1:Watercraft Racing Factory  and to my volunteer holders Mr. Thanawat Manhadee and Ood Benz Nendolf Norm Yee, the dominator Arnold Martinez Thank you thank you very much!” Said BJ Ang.

“We were an underdog kasi rental lang po na race jetski gamit ko. Mga ibang kalaban ko naka race fuel pa and matulin po talaga. After first race, dismayado ako. 4th lang ako. The big break came in the second moto kung saan nag second tayo. Third moto had a lot of pressure! Anything goes para sa amin in 2nd,3rd,and 4th place. Luckily, naka third tayo sa take off and hindi ko na binitawan sir. Second pa sana po but na restart kami. Anyway, I cant complain kasi po this is beyond and expectation. Yung gamit ko ayaw isugal yung makina and ayaw man lang gamitan ng race fuel at re-tune,” explained Ang of how challenging the race was for him.

A big congratulations to you sir BJ Ang.
