Press Release – Bavarian automotive giant signs pro-rider to compete at the 2015 Philippine Superbike Championship.

 

Manila, Philippines – Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the official importer and distributor of BMW Motorrad, recently introduced the first BMW Motorrad Racing Team led by professional rider Marvin Mangulabnan. The introduction of the group signifies the commitment of German car brand’s motorcycle division to build enthusiasm for motorsports and develop awareness on safe riding in the local motoring community,

“BMW Motorrad is excited to further inspire the growing interest for racing among Filipinos with the support of the BMW Motorrad Racing Team. At the same time, we are dedicated to encouraging riders, like Marvin, to take their passion to the racetrack and off the streets to promote road safety across the country,” said ACC President Maricar Parco.

Mangulabnan is set to bring BMW Motorrad for the first time to the 2015 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) on April 25 to 26 of this year at the Batangas Racing Circuit. The 2014 PSBK Wet Race champion will compete on the powerful BMW S 1000 RR to clinch the first of six races in the series.
