Castrol Hails Rivas from Bulacan as “King Mechanic” for 2014

Castrol Philippines held the finale of their 2014 mechanic competition last September 22 at the SMX Convention Center and at the Microtel in Pasay City. Dubbed as Partner for Life 2014 Mechanic’s Night, six (6) finalists were chosen from hundreds who vied and showed their expertise in troubleshooting motorcycles.

38-year-old Cristopher Rivas from Bulacan was hailed as the “King Mechanic” and he won a Castrol-themed Kymco Super 8 scooter and a Castrolized LS2 helmet.

Present at the event were Castrol Philippines executives and staff including Country Sales Director Mr. Saugata Basu Ray, Country Marketing Manager Mr. Ray Encomienda and Marketing Operation Manager Mr. JC Minas, distributors and the mechanics they trained.
