Claveria of 137 SEC Motosupply returns to Tarlac as an IRGP Champion

MotoIR1 IRGPXIV champion Fritssy Claveria of Team 137 SEC Motosupply from Valenzuela City hopes to repeat glory as hectries to win in the Motul MotoIR1 GP class this Sunday at Tarlac Circuit Hill (TCH).

To the delight if his Tarlacqueno fans, the veteran racer on his Kawasaki Ninja 400 snatched a last lap victory over Bataan’s Rizaldy Canare last April 10 to become the first 400cc IRGP champion.

“Natupad ba rin ang matagal ko nang pangarap! Salamat sa SEC Motosupply!” said Claveria after the race. His win was made more emotional because he crashed hard in the morning MotoIR2 GP race that caused tgecrace to be stopped. Fortunately for him, he escaoed serious injury and was fit enough to race in the MotoIR1 race later that day.

Claveria is also the head coach of Claveria Riding Academy (CRA) that teaches the basics road racing to enthusiasts wuth students mainly coming from  the Northern part of Luzon, Manila even as far Bacolod. His riding school akso organizes track days and fun races to his students to instill the attitude of  racing on the track instead of on the streets.

He will again battle Canare on Sunday’s Motul GP and two young guns Sobretodo and Dominguino who will both race in the top MotoIR1 GP category for the first time.

He will also join the inaugural KTM RC Cup Philippines together with his daughter Queenie Claveria on RC200s. He will also compete in the MotoIR2 GP clas on his Yamaha R15.

Claveria with the help of Bombakid also encouraged and organized beginner racers from the North to participate in the Northern IR Club Races to be held the day before the Motul GP.

The team is supported by SEC Motosupply, Claveria Riding Academy, Team Tarlac, TEAM137, Brisk Spark Plug, SPRS, IXIL Pipes, Batang Negros and Bombakid.
