Team Aceess Plus Racing rider TJ Alberto won the first Motul MotoIR3 All Star Race last July 17.

All Star winner TJ Alberto ( Yhel Balbon)

The former CIV and WorldSTK rider and now ARRC AsiaSBK racer, won over an all star cast that featured fellow PSBK star Dashi Watanabe of  Angel’Burger-WRD (who won the 2nd race), Alfonsi Daquigan of DSF Sports Factory 53, Johnlery Enriquez of Speedtuner and Dustin Esguera of Zebra-LEXIN.

Alberto is one of the early advocates of MiniGP racing since learning its importance during his superbike campaigns in Europe from 2017  where ev en the top SBK and MotoGP riders used MiniGPs to hone their skills. Racers there don’t have unlimited unlimited access and track time with their racebikes.

Alberto Race Training bikes (TJ Alberto)

The team sponsored by Essenza Oil, Ohlins, Ducati Philippines and Century Hotels recently acquired a fleet of the MotoIR3 MiniGPs so that his brother Troy Alberto can so join the championship. The fleet will also serve as training bikes for Alberto Race Training high performance riding school’s miniGP course as well as rental race bikes for their students.

Unfortunately, the Alberto brothers will miss the opening race of the Motul All Star championship this weekend since they are preparing for the PSBK races scheduled just a week after.

However, the team wil be represented by another fast rider Fritssy Claveria, a MotoIR and Pirelli Cup star and race winner. He has accumulated many wins in just 2 years of MotoIR and Pirelli Cup competition for Team 137 SEC. He nearly won the 2019 MotoIR1 overall title that was decided only on the last race.

He will ride one of of the Access Plus Racing bike this weekend. You can watch the live stream of the Motul MotoIR3 All Stars this SATURDAY from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at insideracing facebook page.
