Daquigan Ready for Motorland Aragon! Lone Filipino Continues European Talent Cup Campaign

Alfonsi Daquigan continues his campaign in the European Talent Cup. The Filipino pride is ready for Round 4 of the series and is racing again under the Juniro Talent Team. Round 4 is scheduled at the Motorland Aragon Circuit in Spain on July 26 and 27.

Competing against 54 of the world’s toughest young riders, the lone Filipino rider in the prestigious international competition continues to pursue his dream to compete at the pinnacle of motorcycle road racing. His participation in the prestigious European Talent Cup is part of Honda’s Road to Champion and Road to MotoGP campaign. The European Talent Cup (ETC) of the FIM JuniorGP World Championship features 14-19 year-old riders racing on Honda NSF250R race bikes. The JuniorGP has races in Portugal, Spain, France and Italy in 2025.

The Junior Talent Team promotes and runs talents from different backgrounds and paths on the Road to MotoGP and unifies different team names under the same umbrella – uniting the efforts of Dorna talent promotion programs with those of the sponsors and partners who provide important backing to young riders, teams and projects.

Alfonsi Daquigan had a remarkable Asia Talent Cup campaign in 2024 which secured him a spot again in the series this year. He also had a superb year in local racing and won the overall title in the SSBK (Super Sport Bike) class of the 2024 MotoIR Championship and finally a coveted IRGP title after a dominant performance in the SSBK Grand Prix of the Alpinestars IRGPXVII.
