Dominant Victories for Chang and Baroja

Round 6 of the 2019 Petron National Motorcycle Championship was held at the Clark International Speedway last October 6. One of the races in the series was the Yamaha Sniper 150 National Championship organized by Yamaha Motor Philippines.

Riders in the Yamaha Sniper National Championship race using Yamaha Sniper 150 motorcycles. Sean Barcial got the 2:18.173s best qualifying time. In the race proper, however, Kerwin Chang shone again with another breakaway performance. Chang finished first in the Intermediate class. Barcial was second while Amber Torres placed third and got the best lap time of the race which was 2:18.090s. The three are consistent podium finishers in their class this season.

Novice class round 6 winner was Travys Baroja who is having a good season with several wins and podium finishes. Kervie Bergania and Andrei Reyes were the runners-up.

Yamaha Motor Philippines is doing a great venture and the bikes being used for the one-make series are exemplary. Indeed, it was another successful race for the riders who participated and gave their best.

The Yamaha Sniper National Championship aims to search for the next ARRC riders of the country.
