Dongalo: Simply Clean Stance Concept Yamaha Mio from Talamban, Cebu

This simply clean stance concept show scoot is from the Northside and Midcoast Stance group in Cebu. The scoot is owned by Jayr Almonte, a Telecom Field Supervisor based in Talamban.

The base scoot used for this Stance build is a 2008 Yamaha Mio Sporty. He started modifying his scoot when he saw a stance show in a mall once and he was so inspired watching it so he decided to build one for himself.

It took 2 years for this scoot to be built before it participated in its first competition or show. Work on the scoot was on and off and it was very challenging to allocate time for it due to other urgent matters. Jayr sought the help and guidance of Cebu’s Stance King, Joemon Cadampog. Slowly but surely, Jayr, Joemon and their crew completed the build to reach its current state. “All aspects of my bike – I’m really proud of! I think the holographic paint is one of the unique things that we did for this scoot. It is not like the others. The most satisfying aspect of this project is that it allows you to entertain people who watch motor shows, you can inspire people who want and love modified bikes.” Jayr said.

The scoot sports top of the line braking system with its Nissin caliper, CRG brake lever and Nissin disc rotor. It also features a configurable air suspension system and a tuned engine featuring 59 piston big valve 25-29, TSMP V2 28mm carb paired with OR1 Racing Exhaust. It uses Chemco 3-spoke chrome mags,Chrome flywheel starter, Chrome crankcase and Chrome grab bar to go with its custom holographic/iridescent straight cromax paint and custom hydrographic paint for its inner body panels. The scoot also has premium aftermarket parts such as Heng gold bolts, PZTech valve covers, FAITO ignition coil, KOSO digital gauge, KOSO spark plug cap and custom-made plate.
