Face Shields and Face Masks will be both Required in CALABARZON and Metro Manila

“Hugas ng kamay, suot ng mask, at social distancing. At pagsuot na rin po ng face shield,” said Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque regarding the minimum health standards that will be strictly enforced in CALABARAZON and Metro Manila.

The two are still under General Community Quarantine. It is not yet stated when will the rule requiring face shields will take effect.

Aside from face masks, face shields will be required in areas that have a high number of COVID-19 cases. Testing czar Vince Dizon also added that wearing of face shields will increase a person’s protection from COVID-19.
