Great Success for the 1st Caloocan Motorcycle Festival

Thousands came to the 1st Caloocan Motorcycle Festival presented by Yamaha Motor Philippines and Turbo Racing and supported by Caloocan Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan last October 22. The 10th Avenue in Grace Park, Caloocan was the venue of the very successful event held in partnership with Moto Industriya and Infiniteserv.

Yamaha Motor Philippines displayed their automatic, street and big bike lineup of motorcyces as well as the recently launched TFX 150. A moto gymkhana event was held by Yamaha and participants conquered an obstacle course using Yamaha scooters, underbones and street bikes. There were also categories using the TFX 150 in the moto gymkahana event and a stunt show from Taytay riders.

A Yamaha Safety Riding Science acitivity was also part of the motorcyce festival in Caloocan. Yamaha club members supported the event and Yamaha treated them to freebies and great entertainment. A concert was held at night and featured Rico Blanco, Ella Cruz, TJ Monterde and DJ Nina.

Turbo Racing presented a drag race at the event. It was a huge turnout as there was close to a hundred participants and thousands of spectators.

A bike show participated by modifiers in different parts of the country was another crowd-drawer in the event. Motorcyce riders and enthusiasts also enjoyed the many items for sale including motorcycle parts, oil, tires and many moreat the booths of sponsors.
