Honda Philippines has just released the all-new Honda Dio

Honda Philippines finally released the all-new Honda Dio locally. The legendary name was famous back in the nineties during the two-stroke era. Back then, the Honda Dio was powered by a 50cc two stroke engine capable of speeds around 55-65kph bone stock.

The all-new Dio will come in three diffrent colors to choose frome – Candy Jazz Blue, Vibrant Orange and Sports Red. Powered by an air-cooled, 109cc four-stroke single overhead cam (SOHC) engine that has a maximum power of 5.89kW @7500 rpm with a maximum torque of 8.91Nm @ 5000 rpm. Not bad for the price of 49,900 Pesos. Yes! You read it right and it will be the one of the most affordable Hondas ever!

It also features a 58.83km/l fuel consumption that is well suited for your daily everyday riding and errands, LED headlight and position light giving the rider good illumination and visibility at night, spacious U-box and front hook to store and carry your items conveniently and safely. It is also equipped with with a key shutter with seat opener for safety and easy access.

It still has the wide step floor (an actual advantage reminiscent of the older generation Dio which is a favorite for those who always carry stuffs around) as well as wide dual seats for the comfort of both rider and passenger.

Though it will come with 10-inch steel rims and front drum brakes, we cannot argue for the fact that it is the cheapest Honda scooter ever to hit the Philippine market.

When it comes to its wheels, its steel rims with 10-inch tubeless tires are matched with the front and rear drum brake system. And, of course, its wider and comfortable dual seat with wide step floor, as well as its spacious, 14.4-liter capacity U-Box to carry your other essentials, makes your everyday ride even better.
