Honda Steed 400 Cruiser

Michael Konrad San Gabriel started modifying bikes since 2019 and one of is bikes is a 1993 Honda Steed 400 Cruiser. The modification journey of the photographer / videographer who hails from Pasig City started with his scrat build that was featured in this magazine in 2020.

Since then, the love, passion and the people he meets keep Michael Konrad San Gabriel going. It took Michael Konrad a year to build his Honda Steed Cruiser. “I encountered a lot of difficulties with this project. The most difficult part was to get the wirings fixed. Thankfully, FMG (Fart Monkeys Garage) was able to help me out. After the wirings and the engine, I had to do something about the paint and the design because it needed fixing too. I restored it piece by piece to get it to how it looks,” he recalled. He bought the unit from a friend’s husband and transformed it to something classic but is eye-catching.

“I want to thank my friends in this industry: Kenrick, Amiel, Levi, and Tolits Motoklasik. Also, a big shoutout to the Mad Dogs Peeps! They are one of the coolest and nicest people in the motor industry,” shared Michael Konrad.

For his fellow builders and motorcycle enthusiasts, his message is “Continue building, success isn’t built in a day, failure is another way of being successful.”

Michael Konrad has another project in mind in the future but nothing is final yet, and he is still thinking whether to go for a CB400 or a Harley-Davidson.
