The new bike features an improved oversquare engine, improved aerodynamics and a 5 kg reduced weight that resulted in better performance. The bike is also friendlier to shorter riders with its improved seat shape and position allowing for a lower seat height. The bike looks and feels more compact than the outgoing model.  20160911_104854_wm-300x16820160911_105144_wm-300x168It also has attractive LED headlights, digital instruments and new styling that is more related to its bigger CBR supersports brothers.   The first CBR150R was one of the first sportsbikes launched in the country in 2011 with its modern DOHC, liquid-coolef EFI engine, PRO-LINK suspension and sports chassis. It is the basis of the MotoIR Championships since 2012 and has proven to be both fast and reliable. This new model promises to be even better in terms of acceleration and handling.  20160911_104745_wm-300x168 The biggest surprise is the low prices of the new CBR150R. It  will come in 3 variants. The base black ( P150,000) , Red Edition (P152,500) and a limited Repsol Edition (P155,000). The new bike will be available at Honda dealers starting tomorrow.
