IR News: Mascardo Fastest in P1

Buriram,Thailand – April King Mascardo of Team Suzuki Pilipinas drew first blood as he set the fastest time in today’s first practice session of the 2016 Suzuki Asian Challenge (SAC) here at the Chang International Circuit.
Mascardo set a time of 2:15.877s ahead of Indonesian rival Jeffrey Tosema who did a 2:15.948s.
His team mate Eane Jay Sobretodo as 9th  with 2:19.065s while Mario Borbon got into a crash early in the session when a Japanese rider crashed in front of him but he still managed a 2:19.367s good for 11th out of 16 riders. The Japanese rider duly apologized to Borbon after the session.

20161202_122706_wm                Mascardo is confident that that he can still go faster as they have yet to adjust their suspension settings while Sobretodo is still fine tuning his racing line. Borbon meanwhile is just looking forward to a full session in this afternoon’s P2.
The second practice session will be later at 5pm before the qualifying tomorrow.
