The 180cc PSR race proved not to lack in drama at all because as the saying goes “It ain’t over, ’til it’s over”.

It was supposed to be a 1-2-3 Yamaha Spec-V finish in the 180cc class but then scooter king Aljon Valencia encountered wheel issues starting at the final turn up to the finish line which made him slide just literally a couple of meters before being able to cross it, thus relegating him to a painful 5th place finish wherein he had to push his scooter just to be able to finish. Teammates Masato “The Chairman” Fernando, John Emerson “The Hitman” Inguito including Team MLW Racing – Pertua’s Dustin Esguerra capitalized on this unfortunate incident to complete the podium winners in the race.

In the 160cc class, Mckinley Kyle Paz was victorious once again, clearing out an 8 second win over teammate Niel Jan Centeno. EJ Sobretodo finished 3rd. Evander Soliveres was victorious in the 130cc class with Justinne Tolentino and Jacq Buncio completing a 2-3 ladies finish.

The 3rd round of the PSR was held last July 10, 2016 at the Clark International Speedway.
