IR Update: Masato Fernando Dominates Super Underbone for Yamaha-Spec V

Proving he is indeed one of the best riders in the country today, “The Chairman” Masato Fernando had a superb showing the Super Underbone race. Fernando of Team Yamaha-Spec V who travelled all the way from Luzon to Cagayan de Oro was impeccable in the 12-lap Super Underbone race, leading from the start until the checkered flag.

It was a 1-2 finish of Yamaha-Spec V as John Emerson Inguito finished second in the race. Third place was secured by Yamaha-MW 323 rider Vingie Coloma from Mindanao.

Super Underbone race winners in Cagayan de Oro

Organized by Luzon’s InsideRACING and The Racing Line of Vis-Min, the Shell Advance Super Series Nationwide Championships supported by FDR Tires, Yamaha Motor Philippines and Suzuki Phippines held its Cagayan de Oro leg on July 17 at the Limketkai Mall. The series is sanctioned by USRA.

The next leg of the Shell Advance Super Series Nationwide Championships is on July 31 in Bacolod.
