He is an event DJ and spinner and is engaged in the business of sounds and lights, but there is another thing that adds spark and thrill to Joseph Allen Magalit’s life – motorcycle racing.

The San Pedro, Laguna native got interested in motorcycles at a young age. He then met circuit racer Noel de Mesa in 2004 who introduced Joseph into racing. So far he has ridden a Yamaha Crypton Z 130cc open, Sniper 135 Classic 150cc open and Sniper MX King 150cc open.

Joseph has participated in the Super series, Carrera Grande, Yamaha GP and Repsol Road Race. He had a good showing in club races and got the 3rd place in an X1 130cc class and 2nd place in a 150i category. He was also 10th overall in a Suzuki Skydrive Sport Cup. His first participation in a Super Series race event organized by InsideRACING was memorable for him as got to race with the racers he looks up to. Joseph makes sure to double check his race bike and race gears before going into the racetrack.

Racing is a sort of stress reliever for Joseph. It gives him happiness. His goal is to be able to win in races he will participate in. Joseph’s racing heroes are Valentino Rossi, Masato Fernando and McKinley Kyle Paz.

Joseph expresses his gratitude to his family and friends for supporting him always. He is thankful to his sponsors Bullets Engine Dynamics, Mr. Noel de Mesa, Bikerbox Inc., ZEUS Helmet, Mr. Ken Rosales, fellow racer Clyde Relativo, Maxxis Tire Philippines, Mr. Nerwin Sales, Datatec, Crazytune and Mr. Jon Hernandez.

“Maraming salamat po sa suporta. Sa mga gustong kumarera, unang-una mag-invest po tayo sa race gears natin para safety natin sa loob ng racetrack. Push lang sa practice hangga’t makasabay sa mga matutulin,” shared Joseph Allen Magalit.
