Kawasaki and KTM gear up for another exciting SS200 showdown this weekend

Kawasaki and KTM are in for another tough battle for Supersports 200 supremacy this June 3 at the Batangas Racing Circuit. Kawasaki, bannered mostly by participants riding the NS200, is on top of the leaderboard after Edge “Heartbreak Kid” Zapanta made quick work of the competition during the opening round. It will not be an easy path towards the over-all championship though as Gerson “Baby Rasta” Lorenzo and Duke “The Soldier” Montano are not far behind at 2nd and 3rd over-all. Lorenzo and Montano will be competing using their souped-up KTM Duke 200 race bikes. After having a comfortable win, Niel Jan “Indian Boy” will once again pace the Elite class on his Yamaha TFX. Van Ruedas will surely have a few tricks up his sleeve after finishing 2nd place during the last race. Veteran racer Jade Lazaro will surely not lack any motivation after getting a DNF and missing out on a podium spot last round.
