Due to the surge of COVID cases and the threat of the new variant Omicron, Baguio is temporarily not allowing new requests for leisure travel on Baguio VIS.I.T.A.

Funded and supported by the Department of Tourism and Tourism Promotions Board, the Baguio VIS.I.T.A. (Visitor Information and Travel Assistant) is the online registration system for Baguio tourists and travelers.

“Leisure travel requests on Baguio VISITA are temporarily not allowed effective January 2, 2022 until further notice. All pre-approved travels with issued QTP will still be honored and allowed entry on declared travel date, still subjected to mandatory triage. Such allowed entry may change in the future but with prior announcement. All pending travel requests are considered rejected and not allowed entry. APORs and essential/official travels shall register on hdf.baguio.gov.ph, subject to documentary requirements and triage health screening,” shared the Baguio Tourism facebook page.
