LOPEZ OF NHK-RACEWELL WON ROUND 4 OF THE SHELL ADVANCE MOTOIR CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY HONDA AT CLARK

NHK-Racewell’s Herbert Lopez won the 4th round of the 2014 Shell Advance MotoIR Championship Presented by Honda at the Clark International Speedway. Early in the 15-lap west course race, pole sitter Lopez was challenged by Honda-MTRT’s Paul Mark Doblada who took the lead. Lopez managed to get in front and kept the lead, increasing his advantage as laps went by. With only 4 laps to go, the race was red flagged as rain began to pour. The declared winners were Lopez, Doblada who settled for second and third placer Rizaldy Canare of NHK-Racewell. It was a back-to-back win for Lopez who also won the third round held in Batangas. Winner in the MotoIR2 class is Gio Adriano of EGV while Honda-MTRT’s Robert Matthew Ramos is the victor in the Shell Advance MotoIR Youth Cup (SAMYC)
