Today, Lucas Oil Philippines formally launched their brand in a digital video launch on their social media platform and simultaneously via a zoom conference with the media moderated by MotoVita’s Mr. Raemin Reyes and the Lucas Oil Philippines team headed by its CEO – Mr. Bong Alcalde.
Lucas Oil was introduced to the local motorcycle market over a year ago by Motovita, its official motorcycle oil distributor for Luzon and Visayas, as early as December 2019 and started selling its products by January 2020.
“Lucas Oils was introduced to us by the American Embassy and it is 100% pure American brand and made in the USA. Lucas oil has plants in California and Indiana. It is 100% certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API),” said Mr. Alcalde.
Lucas Oil USA is very big in motorsports in many disciplines including NASCAR, motorcycle road racing, NHRA drag racing, boat racing, motocross, dirt track racing and even monster trucks. They also have their own 67,000 seat Lucas Oil Sports Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana where the NFL play.
Lucas Oil also has lubricants for the automotive, heavy duty trucks, industrial, marine and even for guns. They also have additives including an oil stabilizer that increases engine oil life.
” In 2020, despite the pandemic, the Philippines became the number 1 seller for Lucas Oil in the Asian region. We were able to beat Vietnam, Thailand, Korea and other Asian countries. A big contributor for this achievement is the good reception of Lucas Oil in the Mindanao region,” added Mr. Alcalde.
“Education of our users on how to choose the right oil that is best for them, and brand awareness will be our main focus for 2021. We want the market to know that we offer a premium product with high quality, new technology and excellent support from our suppliers in the USA. We want to be a leading lubricant supplier in the Philippines,” said Lucas Oil Philippines Operations and Finance Head Ms. Aly Alcalde.
Meanwhile, Lucas Oil Philippines Head of Marketing Ms. Ara Biltz explained how they plan to achieve these goals in 2021. “We are looking forward to reach our target market by sponsoring more local events and increasing our digital marketing, racing partnerships and racing sponsorships, ” she said.
This is very good news for local racers and event organizers. To know that another brand believe in using racing to demonstrate the superiority, quality and performance of their product.
Afterwards, rider and users gave their testimonials which included Inaki Jose and Jolevs Domingo of Ride n Tandem, The Motosapiens Endurance Team and MotoIR racers Dion Rey Escala and Erick Fidel of ERSTuned Racing Team.
Meanwhile, Motovita’s Raemin Reyes expressed his excitement on social media, ” We are happy to be part of what will be the start of the Lucas Oil USA expansion through Lucas Oil Philippines and delegating our company Motovita, as their Official Distribution Arm for Motorcycle Products in the Philippines, as we grow the brand as the focal point of growth in Southeast Asia and strengthening our presence in the country.“
Congratulations Lucas Oil Philippines and we hope to see you more at the local races.
