March 23 Castrol supports the 17th National Motorycle Convention

Castrol Philippines has formalized its support to the upcoming National Motorcycle Convention in Davao with the host group On Any Sunday Riders. The annual National Motorcycle Convention will happen in Davao from April 29 to May 1 and more than 5,000 participants are expected to attend the event. Castrol will be the official oil of the convention.

Castrol has been the exclusive partner of the National Motorcycle Convention since 2008 and has been held in different parts of the country such as Cagayan de Oro, Baguio and Cebu City. In what is expected to be the biggest convention to date, Davao will be this year’s host city with the biker group On Any Sunday riders leading this year’s gathering. Castrol Philippines will be providing free service and check-up for all bike participants who are expected to come from different parts of the country. Castrol will also be holding several exciting events for all participants during the bike convention

The country sales director of Castrol Philippines Mars Sota explains the importance of supporting the National Motorcycle Convention. “Castrol is very proud to be chosen as the official partner of the event and its recognition as the trusted motorcycle lubricant for the participants” Sota states. He added “We will be taking this opportunity not only to showcase the features and superiority of our products Castrol Power 1 and Activ 4T, but to also emphasize the importance of riding safety to all the participants”.

The host group leading this year’s event is Davao’s premier motorcycle club, On Any Sunday (OAS) Riders. The OAS Riders has promised to make the event the biggest and most exciting to date with an action-packed schedule filled with rides, raffles, concerts and other surprises for the participants. OAS president retired Colonel Samuel Afdal explains the emphasis of the club on motorcycle safety during the convention. “Our club will be at the forefront in promoting the importance of motorcycle safety during the National Motorcycle Convention where we expect 5,000 bikers to attend. We thank Castrol for the support they have extended to the convention”.

Long recognized as the leading motorcycle oil brand in the country, Castrol has been at the forefront in promoting motorcycle safety with its partnership and support of various initiatives this year. Recently, it has renewed its partnership with the Motorcycle Philippines Federation by supporting a year-long schedule of safety seminars and summits that will be happening in different parts of the country.
