Marquez set to miss the 2022 Honda RC213V unveiling due to eye problem

Six-time MotoGP champion and Repsol Honda lead rider Marc Marquez will skip the presentation of its 2022 RC213V MotoGP race bike as he continues nto care for his injured eye.

It’s the time of the year where motoGP teams prepare to unveil their new bikes for the season and with the first official pre-season test at Sepang Circuit in Malaysia. Honda plans to introduce its 2022 RC213V bike tom January 14, 2022.

The injury first occurred the week of the 2021 Algarve Grand Prix, HRC reported it as a concussion. But a week later it was revealed that the rider was suffering from diplopia. It may be connected to the concussion that Marquez had during his training incident.

During Marquez’s absence, HRC announced that Repsol Honda rider Pol Espargaro and LCR Honda riders Taka Nakagami and Alex Marquez will be present for the unveiling. Despite the unfortunate incident of missing the unveiling MM93 will surely be returning in time to ride the updated RC213V and fans hope he heals in time to make the pre-season tests  this 2022.
