Maxi GP : TSMP, Dad’s Garage, Project FI, JVT & two IR Legends aim to win the first race on April 24

Still a week to go and the MotoIR AT Maxi GP/SP class line up for Aerox and NMAX is already turning out to be a competitive and exciting.

Defending Team Champion TSMP will defend their the MotoIR MaxiGP championship won by their lead rider Niel Jan Centeno last year. With Centeno still unsure of participating because of the injury he sustained during the IRGP QTT last March, rider and IR Legend Dustin Esguerra will be riding  instead and will be competing in  Maxi GP class for the first time.

Aiming to challenge them  is Dad’s Garage riders Carlo Calderon will challenge in the GP class while team mate Dwayne Pascual as well as Project FI who is preparing Aerox racebikes for their two riders who are now eligible for the GP class .

Team JVT Scooters are also busy preparing Aerox racebikes for their riders Sean Barcial and Kerwin Chang and are hoping they can finish them to be on the grid on Sunday April 24. The team showed unquestionble speed on the track on their underbones and hopes to get MotoIR glory.

Meanwhile, another IR Legend will be seriously contesting for the  overall GP win as scooter Legend Jaime Barcial will join on an NMAX.

Many more teams and riders will join especially in the SP class where a lot of Aerox riders have been waiting for this race since last year.

The Maxi GP for Aerox/NMAX will akso be a featured class in the upcoming 15th IRGP to be held this December. Rules are 185cc maximum displacement with open modifications.

Aside from the GP and SP classes, the MotoIR AT Maxi will also have a separate awards for qualified IR legends. So on top of Esguerra and Barcial, we may see a few more legends joining the fun.
