May coding na ulit sa umaga simula Aug 15 – MMDA

Simula Agosto 15, ipatutupad ng MMDA ang Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) o number coding scheme mula 7 am – 10 am at 5 pm – 8 pm mula Lunes hanggang Biyernes, maliban tuwing holidays.

Sa ilalim nito, bawal bumiyahe ang mga sasakyan sa mga pangunahing lansangan ng Metro Manila batay sa huling digit ng license plates sa nasabing coding hours. Ang mga plakang nagtatapos sa 1 at 2 ay sakop ng coding tuwing Lunes, 3 at 4 tuwing Martes, 5 at 6 tuwing Miyerkules, 7 at 8 tuwing Huwebes at 9 at 0 tuwing Biyernes.

Exempted naman sa coding ang mga pampublikong sasakyan, transport network vehicles services (TNVS), motorsiklo, trak ng basura, trak ng petrolyo, ambulansya, marked vehicle ng media, truck ng bumbero, ambulansya, at sasakyang may dalang mga perishable at/o essential goods.

Ayon kay MMDA Acting Chairman Carlo Dimayuga III, inaprubahan ng Metro Manila Council ang pagpapatupad nito sa harap ng napipintong pagbubukas ng klase sa August 22 kung saan inaasahan ang pagdami ng sasakyan sa lansangan.

Magkakaroon muna ng dry run at information drive simula Agosto 15 hanggang 17. Mula Agosto 18, sisimulan na ang panghuhuli at pag-issue ng traffic violation ticket sa pamamagitan ng on the ground apprehension at ng No Contact Apprehension Policy.
