IR-CASTROL Trackday will be on Oct 4 in Clark

BP Philippines will be the title sponsor for the InsideRACING – CASTROL Track Day at the brand new Clark International Speedway (CIS) on October 4. This is the sixth event organized by InsideRACING to give the ordinary riders a chance to ride on a race track.

During IR Track Days, riders can lap a permanent track with complete safety support. Designed to discourage racing on the streets, the InsideRACING-CASTROL Track Day will have trained track marshals, an ambulance, and a doctor on site, as well as an inspection of the motorcycle and safety gears. It is definitely much safer than racing on the streets. The riders will also be grouped according to riding skills and will have equal multiple sessions during the day with enough rest periods between sessions.

Rider Groups include Hobby, Beginner, Experienced and Experts. Rider Fee is only P350 for three (3) 15 min sessions and a limit of 25 riders per session will be implemented for safety.

As this will be held prior to the national championships a few weeks later, The EXPERT-PRO riders will have an additional group to accommodate the expert riders who wants to try the new racetrack for the first time.

The brand new Clark International Speedway is a fast, smooth and flowing 1.9kms circuit with a completely different character from Carmona or BRC which will make it an enjoyable ride even for the experts. The can easily be accessed via NLEX- SCTEX route with a direct access (DMIA exit) in front of the EXPO Filipino grounds. All participants are encouraged to bring their own tenets as there will only be limited slots under the Castrol tents.
