Team Yamaha VR46 Master Camp’s Mckinley Kyle Paz was massively consistent in both Free Practice Sessions of the FIM Repsol CEV Moto2 European Championships held yesterday at the Motorland Aragon Circuit in Alcañiz, Spain.

After a scare last week when a bone crack was discovered in one of his pinky finger after testing, Paz managed to overcome the injury and was cleared to compete this weekend.

Also, today the Filipino “Wonder Boy” from Taytay, Rizal celebrated his 20th birthday on the track. Mr. Jordan Cornista gave him a cake to blow inside his garage.

” Celebration was plain and simple. I just bought him a cake and organize a little surprise. Parang hindi ugali ng mga italiano mag celebrate, ” said Mr. Cornista.

It was a birthday spent in a foreign land and far away from the warmth and loving company of his family and friends. It is just one of the many sacrifices a top international racer like Kyle needs to do.

On track, he was clam and consistent finishing in P14 in FP1 and improved a position to P13 in FP2 out of 29 riders! It looks good for a possible Top 10 in Qualifying today and another points scoring finish in the races tomorrow Sunday.

Great job and Happy Birthday Kyle!
