MotoIR Rd. 4: Esguerra Triples; Double Victory for Corpuz, Sablaya, Sobretodo and Viduya

The fourth round of the MotoIR Championship dubbed “Performance and Lifestyle Expo GP” was held at the Tarlac Circuit Hill on August 21, 2022. The 2022 MotoIR is supported by Motul, Denoo Motorcycle Oil, Pirelli, FDR, Zeneos, Beast Tires, Extreme One and Quick Tires. It is a Philippine National road race event series sanctioned by NAMSSA, the FIM National Federation in partnership with Club affiliate USRA.
Denoo-Gille-MLW rider Dustin Esguerra excelled once again and clinched 3 wins. The veteran rider from Taytay, Rizal was victorious in the MotoIR Automatic Open GP, Motul MotoIR2 GP and MotoIR Maxi GP races.

Edcel Corpuz of NCY-Suntal-JDO also had a superb showing which resulted to a double win. Corpuz dominated the MotoIR Automatic Open SP and MotoIR Maxi SP classes for novice and beginner riders.

Jakob Sablaya of Honda Triumph JT Project M was on his winning form again and ruled in the Denoo Motor Oil MotoIR Underbone Open GP and MotoIR Underbone Sealed GP classes.

Victory in the MotoIR Underbone Sealed SP and Motul MotoIR2 SP classes was taken by Joshua Sobretodo of VMAN Racing Team.

Zoom/Piyesa Moto rider Terrel Ace Viduya likewise took home two first place trophies after a great pace in the All Beginner Underbone and Denoo Motor Oil MotoIR Underbone Open SP categories.

Also winning at the MotoIR Round 4 were Lawrence John Acay of Denoo/MLW/Lex Speed (All Beginner Scooter), Troy Lachica of BRT/CRA (All Beginner Backbone), Melchyzedek Jacob Ngo of BRT-CRA (Pocketbikes), Jessica Rheanne Gonzales of Team Kap/Beltspeed (All Ladies), Eunice Mae Sta. Ana of SGKRT/Denoo/Dustroyer69 (MotoIR Automatic 115 Sealed), Ruben Mabalot of BRT/CRA (Motul Supersport 300 SP) and riding coach Fritsy Claveria of CRA/SEC Motosupply (Motul Supersport 300 GP). Many students of the Claveria Riding Academy of Fritsy Claveria participated in the race and he also had a successful track day/training session a day before.

One of the highlights of the MotoIR race last August 21 were the debut races of the Motul MotoIR Youth Cup. The program aims to achieve InsideRACING’s goal to always uplift and provide an international level of talent-search program for young and deserving local riders. Also, to provide a professional race platform that is at par with similar international competitions for our partners and suppliers while providing an international level of experiences to our local riders, fans and enthusiasts. The program has two classes (Seniors and Juniors) and uses KAYO MiniGP bikes.

Round 5 of the MotoIR is happening on September 18 at Tarlac Circuit Hill and will feature the same classes as well as the KTM RC Cup and Motul MotoIR Youth Cup.
InsideRACING will hold its Performance and Lifestyle Expo GP this October 28-30 at the World Trade Center in Manila. This is IR Nation’s first ever Christmas Holiday Spree and aside from motorcycles, the event will also feature Cycling, E Mobility, Auto and Marine segments.
