Motorcycles Lanes along J Vargas St. in Pasig

Via Twitter yesterday March 18, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto announced the city government’s plan to reduce car lanes and build a bike lane beside the motorcycle lane along J. Vargas St.
“Although some car owners will continue to complain and ask for the three car lanes back in J. Vargas, two car lanes plus motorcycle lane and bike lane will actually have a higher carrying capacity,” Sotto said on his tweet.
Currently, only bicycle lanes are implemented with motorcycles encroaching the lanes during peak traffic periods.
