Motul Cebu GP: FDR & Borbon win a Super Underbone GP National

Former Suzuki Asian Cup international race winner Mario Borbon, Jr from Cebu City returned to his winning ways by claiming a hard fought home GP for the Cebuaños last July 17 at Kartzone Cebu.

Organized by the RacingLineTV in the “Queen City of the South” last July 17 at Kartzone Cebu, the Motul Cebu GP was the opening race of the Vis-Min Divisionals and is the 3rd round of the the 2022 Motul Super Series Nationwide Championship is a Philippine National road race event sanctioned by NAMSSA, the FIM National Federation in partnership with Club affiliate USRA. It is presented by Motul by Infiniteserv International in partnership with Pirelli, Zeneos, Beast, FDR, Extreme One, and Quick.

The Yamaha Motul Speedhouse Cebu rider bested fellow Vis-Min riders Garry Cañeda Jr and Jaycob Cabahug in the Motul Super Underbone GP class. He was also runner ups both in the Motul UB 150 Sealed  GP and Motul Super  Maxi GP.

At sir Jess sa walang sawang pag supporta nyo po sa akin. To YAMAHA Motor Philippines sir Jordan Cornista and sir Jonathan Dela Cruz  and sir Lenor G Villaruel maraming salamat po. To Sir Jonas Eggeling  of Kartzone Cebu  salamat kaayo sa imong pag supporta diri sa ako. And of course, .m the man behind my machine, my coach,  and my mentor, thank you so much,” Borbon said after the race.

The next race of the Nationwide series will be on July 28 for the Visayas GP akso at Kartzone Cebu.
