New 2021 Yamaha Sniper 155R prices announced to the dealers

Yamaha Philippines has formally advised its dealers the availability of the new 2021 Yamaha Sniper 155 and 2021 Sniper 155R through a memo last April 30. A copy of the memo has found its way to social media.

The Sniper 155 is priced at P114,900 and is avialble in 3 colors ( Matte Black, Matt Gray and Blue)

Meanwhile the higher end model Sniper 155R is priced at  P120,900 and is only available in 1 color ( Matt Light Brown).

It now incorporates aggressive design cues similar from the brand’s R6 and R1 superbikes. There is a sportier new front LED headlight and fairing design while the rear styling is similar to the R15 sports bike.

The new Sniper 155 now has the same 155cc SOHC engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) as the R15 and MT-15 that is believed to produce 17.7hp at 9,500rpm and 14.4Nm torque at 8,000rpm.

The six-speed manual transmission is now enhanced with an assist/slipper clutch in other markets and this feature maybe present in the Sniper 155R.

Other upgrades include a new LCD screen, Smart Key system, USB port, front dual-piston caliper brake and a 5.4-litre fuel tank.
