In light of the recent uniformity of travel protocols nationwide, the Province of Ilocos Sur announced that “quarantine” is no longer required for travelers unless they exhibit symptoms upon arrival in the province.

However, for returning residents, locally stranded individuals, tourist and frequent border crossers, requirements are still needed such as

– identification card
– travel order
– travel itenerary

Except APOR (authorized person outside residents) who work in government.

“All travelers, before entry to Ilocos Sur, shall pass the symptom screening at the border upon arrival, and in case of public transport upon boarding,”- said Gov. Ryan Luis Singson

Authorities shall continue to to strictly implement minimum health protocols such as wearing of face masks and face shields and social distancing..
