Filipino FIM CEV Moto2 racer McKinley Kyle Paz of the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp team suffered an injury during a pre-race test yesterday at the Motorland Aragon Circuit.

Paz sent IR Nation a photo of his heavily bandaged injured pinky finger on his left hand.

“Yung crash ko po ay lowside lang pero naramdaman ko po sobrang sakit ng pinky finger ko! Dinala po ako sa hospital at  nakita po na may crack yung bone, pero okay lang po it’s part of the game, and sana mag fast healing para makalaro po ako next week for the Aragon round,” said Kyle, who was feeling positive.

“There is a little crack on his pinky finger. It is under observation if makakalaro next week or not,” said YMPH’s Mr. Jordan Cornista.

The FIM Repsol CEV race will be held next weekend at the 5.345 km circuit located in Alcañiz,Spain. It is a track that hosts rounds of the World Superbike Championships and the MotoGP World Championships.

It will only be Paz’s third race in Europe. Last round in Portimao, he finished a best of 7th place.
